Многогранник Бокурадзе no Megacine.to. Denis Bokuradze, director of the Gran chamber theatre from the provincial Volga city of Novokuibyshevsk, is eagerly awaiting the opening of the new stage. For the city of chemists and oil workers, this will be the first real city theatre in its history – Novokuibyshevsk has never had its own theatre building before. Construction takes up all the director’s free time from work on performances, distracting him from rehearsals, taking away his health and attention. Not everything is going smoothly: the builders are missing deadlines and at some point it seems that the construction may stop altogether. The director is trying with all his might to prevent this. At the same time, he is releasing a premiere, preparing for new productions and solving a host of everyday, organizational and creative problems that arise daily in the team and make up the life of a chamber theatre…
